Our spirituality statement is underpinned by our Christian vision and values and is at the heart of everything we do at Christ Church Pellon Primary School.
We define spirituality at Christ Church as:
Exploring what it means to be connected
to ourselves, to others, to God, and to the world around us.
Spirituality helps us understand who we are inside. It encourages us to reflect on our feelings, thoughts, beliefs, and experiences. At Christ Church, spirituality is woven through everyday life, helping children grow in kindness, compassion, courage, and hope.
We nurture spirituality by encouraging children to:
- develop a sense of awe and wonder
- build positive relationships with others
- reflect on their own thoughts and feelings
- explore faith, prayer, and Christian values
- care for God’s world and all living things
- understand that every person is unique and valued
Spirituality reminds us that we are all part of something bigger than ourselves. Through faith, friendship, reflection, and service, we grow together as a caring Christian community.
