Parent Guide

Ofsted would like to hear your views. You can do this by completing an online pupil questionnaire at the following link: https://ofsted.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/Pupil/10240242. This link must not be shared to anyone outside of the school.

Your views are really important to us and will help inspectors understand your experience of school. The questionnaire will close at 3pm on 06 December 2022, to give the inspector time to look at the results. The questionnaires work in all web browsers, tablets and mobile devices.

We do not ask for your name, so you will not be identified from the responses you make.

Head's Welcome

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you and your child to Christ Church (Pellon) C of E (VC) Primary School.

We hope that you will find the information contained on this website both helpful and informative. It is constantly being updated so do visit us again soon!

We are extremely proud of all that goes on here at Christ Church and as our website demonstrates, the children are supported in their learning by dedicated staff, governors and parents.

Christ Church School is a vibrant, caring community where all people have high expectations of each other. We place great importance on our school vision, “Soaring High, Together We Shine” and believe that all children should become independent, successful and confident learners during their time with us.

We will do everything we can to fulfil our responsibilities and help your child reach their potential.

Our Core Values reflect the nature of our school and run through everything we do within school. Our Core Values are Friendship, Justice, Compassion, Forgiveness, Perseverance and Thankfulness. Our Collective Worship and daily practice reflect these values and promotes our Christian ethos.

We firmly believe that children thrive best when supported by school and home working together. To this end, we employ a Pastoral Support team to work with families, parents, carers and children to ensure that children have the best chances in life and learning. We look forward to working in partnership with you as together we can ensure your child has the best possible start in life. A child only gets one chance and here at Christ Church, we do firmly believe that every child matters.

We believe Christ Church is a school that the whole community can be proud of. We look forward to working with you and your child.
